A-Z Meme

ACCENT: Canadian with a bit of Oregonese mixed in. And a dash of Utah drawl left over from my days of talking to Dedee on the phone everyday. Miss ya babe!
BIBLE BOOK THAT I LIKE: Can I say the Bible Dictionary? Fascinating stuff in there!
CHORE I DON’T CARE FOR: Dusting.
DOG OR CAT: Neither please. We’re not pet people at all. But considering we now live on an acre of rural property, I’m sure the kids will talk us into something eventually. Scary to realize that the “We don’t have room for a horse” argument won’t fly.
ESSENTIAL ELECTRONICS: Computer, CD Player.
FAVORITE COLOGNE: I just use a vanilla bodyspray. Mmm…vanillaaaa….
GOLD OR SILVER: Silver
HANDBAG I CARRY MOST OFTEN: Bright Blue diaper bag back-pack/purse.
INSOMNIA: used to be my way of life. Since having kids? No problemo.
JOB TITLE: Homemaker
KIDS: 2 girls, 2.5 and 1.
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: 3 bedroom, 3 bath, two storey house on an acre of land overlooking a greenbelt and lake.
MOST ADMIRABLE TRAIT: You tell me. I could do with a good ego-stroking.
NAUGHTIEST CHILDHOOD BEHAVIOR: Stealing cookies. Reading with a flashlight till 4am.
OVERNIGHT HOSPITAL STAYS: Just for labour etc…I’m annoyingly healthy, actually. The hypochondriac in me hates that.
PHOBIAS: Bees!
QUOTE: “Is it arrogant to quote yourself?” – Me
RELIGION: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
SIBLINGS: I’m the oldest, one brother (1.5 years younger) and one sister (5 years younger).
TIME I WAKE UP: 7:30am.
UNUSUAL TALENT OR SKILL: Bizarrely good memory for all sorts of random facts. Really freaks people out sometimes. It’s fun.
VEGETABLE I REFUSE TO EAT: Asparagus.
WORST HABIT: Nose Picking.
X-RAYS: Chest x-ray when I was getting severely achy joints. The never told me why I needed a chest x-ray for sore knees and I didn’t think to ask (back in my shy-Kim days).
YUMMY STUFF I COOK: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Manicotti, Butter-Tart Squares, Oatmeal/Cranberry/White Chocolate cookies.
ZOO ANIMAL I LIKE MOST: Turtle.

And I tag…anyone without anything better to do!

Kim,

I’m sorry, I’m invading your life! But you are Canadian, and Dedee’s friend, so I want to get to know you. :) Do you have a fabulous butter tart recipe you can share with me? They are my absolute favorite treat, and I don’t have a recipe!!!! I miss Canada when I think of butter tarts!!!

M: You are HONEST and forthcoming. So much of what I think or have thought, you actually say. It’s kind of scary actually.

Thanks for playing!

Lucy – I’m so going to clip out all this lovely praise, paste it into a word document, print it out, and ready it when I’m feeling crummy about myself! Thanks!
NCS – It is such a delight to make someone as witty as you giggle! And I’ll host a blogger-chick get t’gether anytime y’all feel like trekking up to the middle of nowhere. =P
Elaine – No worries! I feel the same! And I have an awesome recipe for butter tart squares (so much easier than tarts and they taste the same!).
Millie – I know I’m scary. I do it for shock value. Besides, it’s easier than trying to think of something intelligent or witty to say.

Yeah, there’s very few scents I can tolerate, but vanilla is one of them. I doused myself in vanilla/brown sugar body wash this morning. I’m full of cavity causing crap both inside and out!
