Randomosity

by Kym on April 19, 2007

I’ve multiple things I feel like jotting down today, but I’m far too lazy to string everything together into one cohesive post. Hey, I’ve been sick, cut me some slack.

1) Feeling muchly, muchly better today. Wee bit on the sleep deprived side, but happy nonetheless.

2) Having fun listening to some funky folksy music at www.kitchenradio.ca. I heard of it through a CBC radio interview the other day. Some of it is dang weird, but most of it is happy natured makes you want to get up and dance kind of music. Hee hee…a polka just came on. I am becoming such a dork in my old age. And I love it.

3) Also having fun poking around on www.facebook.com. I’ve found some old friends from way back when. You know the kind of friends that make you feel young from all the memories, and old from the realization of how many years it’s been since you last saw them. I’ve reconnected with my best friend from Elementary School, my fellow flute playing friend from high school band, and the guy I had a crush on from Grade 8 to halfway through college. I had fun telling him and laughing with him about it. We were friends, but he was oblivious the whole time. I’m glad of that.

4) I’m feeling so happy and energetic this morning compared to the last few days, that I want to bounce around and be productive and all that good stuff. However, I only got four hours sleep last night. Sadly, a nap might be a wiser decision.

But since when have I been wise?

5) I’ve started yet another new blog. I get these ideas, get passionate about them, and then let them slide away (sorry Finding my Pants!). Tends to be the pattern of my life. I’m trying to look at it in a more positive light, rather than getting despondent about it. At least I get passionate. At least I start things. That gets me halfway there, whereas never trying gets me nowhere. Once I get the finishing things problem licked, I’m golden! Anyway, I’m jumping on the weight loss blog bandwagon with my new blog, Young in a Year.

I feel like now that I’ve hit five things I can finish off. May add more later, as I’m in a rather pensive mood today. That’s a lovely way to put it, isn’t it? Rather than clutching at my head and shouting, “I can’t turn it off! Arggggh!!”

Um. Not that I do that.

Pensive, I like that. However, I am not too fond of it at 2:38 in the morning when it won’t let me fall asleep. It is then that I wish I could take my batteries out.

I am glad you are feeling better!

Hope you get more rest tonight–you could always polka until you’re sleepy.

Feel better! And I know what you mean. I get stuff in my head and it just begs to be written–yet isn’t it funny how with as many things we juggle as women we still feel the need to juggle one more blog as well?

Happy juggling!

I was just last night bemoaning the fact that I get super ideas about things I’d like to do, and then never find the time/dedication to do them. Times and seasons…..eternity is a heck of a long time…
ps-I love the scrolling baby pics I can watch as I type. supercute!

This Infidel is sick 24/7………Wiggedy Wiggedy Whack sick, that is!
Just like my esteemed fellow lyricists at the refined establishment known as Cypress Hill, who once mused, “Insane In The Membrane……..Insane In The Brain.” I too, can relate with such profound ponderings of life.

Hope you all Canadian people is feeling better, and that you keep the sickness up there, yo!
