The Post that Changed the World

by Kym on April 24, 2007

I decided to write something brilliant today.

I’ve no idea what that something might be. I just feel that if I really pour my heart and soul into this blog post that it will transcend the usual banal babble I purvey here. And this post will shine out as a beacon to all. It will lift hearts and change lives!

I just need to wait patiently for inspiration to strike.

Pulitzer Prize here I come!

Any time now.

Ready and waiting.

…and waiting.

Well, I do have a reputation to maintain. =P

Hey… this might help your utterly brilliant post…

But I just found out a couple of my buddies from UNBC went to the same high school as you – graduating before you, of course, in 94, but still. Same school regardless.

wow girl . . . way to put pressure on yourself . . . I’m glad I’m not trying to uphold any kind of brilliant reputation! LOL
ps — while you’re waiting for your inspiration, how’s about sending that email Neil said you were going to send me for James?

My heart has been lifted — my life, changed! I am hopeful and bouyant… you must be well on your way!

:O)

Love it. LOVE IT! LOL. Don’t you love days when you’re lucky to be able to come up with “nothing” as your blog topic?

Hey! I like your yellow-dot visitor thingy. FUN! I might have to keep coming back, just to see if I can get my yellow dot to out-shine all the rest of them! :) BTW…what is a skookum figure? ;)

I could post this almost every day, but instead I leave my blog empty for days (weeks?!) at a time. But you’ve become an every-day blogger, and for that I give mad props. ;-) (I am pretty sure nobody says mad props anymore. My bad. )

Jo – The world is getting ever and ever smaller, isn’t it?
Kate – I was just kidding, really! ~lol~
Thea – Making something out of nothing is a skill I perfect in high school English class. =P
Laine – I did too until I realized it doesn’t really work. Although if you click it’ll tell you in writing where everyone hails from. Skookum = Hot.
Grateful – Every once in awhile Neil takes me aside and points out that my vocabulary can be kind of intimidating to people who don’t know me well. It’s unintentional, really!
Beth – Blogging makes me happy, so I try to do it every day. =) I love the expression “mad props”! Have no idea what it means, but it’s got a lovely British feel to it, doesn’t it?

So funny. I’ve felt this way for a week and a half now. I want someone else to ask me interview questions. Maybe I’ll pop in on Catherine’s blog and make her ask me some.

I don’t know about Pulitzer, but I’ll give you 50 cents and my old bowling trophy for using the word, ‘banal.’

You’ve inspired me beyond my wildest imaginations.

When in doubt, post a recipe.

Like this one:

Mash up an avocado, add cream, mix with a little lemon juice and then spoon it over some fresh cooked pasta.

Add parmasean cheese (of course).

DeDee – I highly recommend Catherine as the consummate questionner!
EWBL – ~wipes away a few tears~ I always knew this day would come…I’d like to thank the little words that helped me build my vocabularly…
Grace – Finally a chance to do for you what you’ve done for me! =P
K – Leave out the avacado and I’d probably love it. Mmm…parmesan…

You have inspiration and wit and well-written posts gracing your blog all the time. Now I on the other hand need to wait …. and wait … and wait …
