I’m not Three! I’m Emma!

Sorry for the picture overload, but I couldn’t resist sharing the cuteness. It was an exhausting day, but I got a happy toddler and some awesome pictures out of it. My first attempt at a layer cake was…interesting, but so delicious. Emma spent the whole day wishing everyone and everything “Happy Durthday!”, and arguing strenuously when various people dared to insinuate her name was “Three” instead of Emma. “I’m not three! I’m Emma!”, she fiercely asserted. Toddler logic cracks me up.

Cute–and your layer cake looks awesome. I love making fun cakes for my kids, they don’t look anything like the cakes at the store, but they taste better cause they’re homemake (except for the cake mix part–though I’ve finally started doing them from scratch) and they are my own little gift to them. Glad you had a fun day with it all!

Jake still does the “I’m not ___, I’m Jacob.” As in, “I’m not silly, I’m Jacob.” “I’m not a boy, I’m Jacob” Cracks me up!
