Waiting Till Tomorrow

by Kym on August 22, 2007

Who needs folded laundry right away…
…when there’s cuteness like this to be had?
You should have seen her face…
…after I told her she was too little to go to school.

“No! I go a school!”
“Sorry sweetheart, but you’re too little.”
“I not too little! You too little! I a big girl! I wanna go a school!”
“You can go two years from now, okay?”
“Tomorrow? When a sun come out?”

That’s right, my darling. The sun will come out tomorrow.

I love my job.

‘Tomorrow’ will come all too soon!

The “tomorrows” do indeed come to soon. Don’t you sometimes wish there was a dial somewhere to slow it all down a bit?

Professional motherhood … there is nothing quite like it!

I love Annie, the original one!

Adorable.

We really need to replace our broken camera – I know I’m missing so many of these kinds of shots.

Cute pictures! My youngest hasn’t asked if she can go to school… yet. I’m sure the time will come. Technically, she can go next year, but we might wait for another year. I know. I’m insane.

How cute are they?!

Logan randomly started saying he was going to school the other day, too. I wonder if he and Emma are long-lost-soulmates.

#4 has been waiting impatiently for his chance. Finally he gets to go to Kindergarten this year. Every day he asks me how many more days until he meets his teacher.

You’re setting a bad example for your kids by letting them watch Annie. We are not a gambling people and Annie says ‘BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR.’ Sinful!

It’s hard to be left behind. Especially for Mommy.

They sure are cute! My Punkin’ is such a ham, but will hardly ever pose for a picture. I have tons of the side of his head.

You think you could talk to him for me?

My oldest loved sitting in a box when she was a baby.

I had another one who loved his playpen. People thought I was mean because I wouldn’t let him out. I let him out, but he cried to get back in. It made me worried that he would be like the baby on Back to the Future who grew up to be a convict.

Now he’s sixteen and no trouble with the law yet.

And yes, I want your recipe for chocolate cheesecake cupcakes.

It sounds better than the cheese filled deep fryed rat someone else suggested.

Oh yeah, I just remembered, I’m off sugar.

I love it . . . I can just hear Emma’s dear little voice and yours in that conversation . . . “YOU’RE too little!” *giggles*

Now all she needs is red curly hair and freckles.

What a doll!

Mine desperately wants to go to school today. She does “homework” every night. So as long as her future homework involves colouring I think she will be fine when the day actually comes.

just precious. i like how you write the quoted conversation. if you didn’t blog journal, you might not have any record or memory of all these little sweet moments.
