5 Minutes for Mom is hosting a fabulous give away and I just couldn’t resist entering. I almost never enter such things because hey, some of us are just born losers, and living in the Middle o’Nowhere, BC, Canada, tends to disqualify me from most of them. This one though? Open to US and Canada, and all I have to do is post a picture of my sleeping child.

The picture popped into my head with startling vividness the moment I read that requirement. There is one picture of Becca sleeping that seems to have rooted itself in my heart. How perfectly it captures her sweet vulnerability, her rosebud mouth, and her tender red curls. Not to mention the rosy cheeks. The Lily Rose bedroom set has me all agog, I’ll admit. It especially caught my interest as it’s made by South Shore Furniture and eons ago when I worked for a furniture retailer I learned that they have some of the highest quality children’s furniture out there.

For serious. I’m not just saying that in hopes of giving myself a little bit of an edge here.

Though now I’m hoping it does…
