Please Stop Blogging

Published by Kym at 9:43 pm under Uncategorized

Please.  I can’t keep up.  I’m wallowing in unread blog posts and I miss you, I do.  But I’m trying to lose weight which means sitting at the computer all day is a bit of a no-no, and I’m doing NaNoWriMo which is a yes-yes but a very stress inducing and time consuming one.  And Becca threw Neil’s laptop down the stairs yesterday so I can’t carry you all around the house with me and pop on here and there.  My legs ache from climbing up and down the stairs all day (good thing, yes, but still painful).  As to the email situation and comment responding plans.  Well…yes.  Sorry about that.

My mind is bouncing about like a piece of jello on a roller coaster.  As there’s so many different directions to wobble in, nothing seems to be getting focused on.

You’re possibly sitting there wondering why I haven’t stopped by or replied to your comment or email, and I’m just sitting here wobbling about.

Wibble wobble wibble.

And I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow.  Please may I not do anything mental to my hair.  I will take before and after pictures, of course, but when it comes to proving that no, I rarely look as nice as my head shot might lead you to believe, I can make no promises.  An attempt will be made though.

With all there is to do both here there and everywhere, I think what I’ll probably end up doing tonight is curling up in bed with a good book and fall asleep while Neil’s in the tub.  I’ll likely wake to the sound of him tsking and moving my book off the bed and tucking me in proper.  Then I’ll doze off whilst thinking in a foggy sort of fashion…

…crap.  I forgot to brush my teeth.

Anyway, please don’t scratch me off your blog rolls and feed readers quite yet.  If I survive it, I’ll see you on the other side of the weekend, yes?

I’m going to brush my teeth now.

My dear… I haven’t blogged in just over a week. I have 145 unread posts just staring at me from my Google Reader… this NaNoWriMo is probably going to be the end of my writing. After I get done doing things for that, I have no desire to write anywhere else… my own blogs or comments. Isn’t that terrible? :S

I can’t stop blogging! Sorry. But you don’t have to come to my blog until after November. I’m a little surprised people are still coming. I felt sure they’d abandon me when i started posting every day this month. Good luck with all your stuff!!

It’s astonishing and embarrassing how often I forget to brush my teeth.

Don’t stress silly one. Nobody begrudges you some commenting time off.

Repeat after me: “I do NOT need to comment on every post of every blog friend every time.”

Seriously. Learn it, Live it, Love it.

I’ve been overloaded with keeping up in the blogging world, too. But just decided I can’t do it all. And so I have alloted a small amount of time each week to go visit everyone. In so doing, I’ve been so much more productive with everything else in my life!

I’m sure you will survive the weekend. And no worries on having to catch up on mine, I know how necessary that “mark all as read” can be when you get behind. (even though I hate clicking it) But I promise not to stop reading, I like you too much for that. Take care of yourself, see you when you get back to posting :)

Me go away? You’re too addictive for me to do that. In fact I might need rehab for me to stop checking your blog. Plus I totally understand about commenting/e-mailing break. If you haven’t noticed I don’t comment on every single post because well, life just gets in the way :-) So have a fun weekend!

I know whatcha mean. November is so hard to keep up with everyone. Why couldn’t Nablopomo be in January?

You’re not getting crossed off my list anytime soon, sista. But you may see me a bit less often for awhile, as I’m trying to stay off the computer more and get some things done around here.

Um - my brain isn’t supposed to jiggle like a piece of jello on a roller coaster? Gee, that explains a few things. Can I use that analogy from time to time?

Hope things calm down. I am still so impressed you are doing Nano…

Don’t feel bad… I’m lucky if I can get a post a week up. I don’t know how everyone can do NaBloPoMo, but I definitely admire them. And I admire you for NaNoWriMo, too!

I’m jealous… I really need a new hairstyle. Can’t wait to see what you have done this time!

Hmm. Why do you even try to keep up at all? But, don’t worry: I haven’t posted in quite a while simply ’cause. And I have a ton of unread posts in my reader. And I haven’t even started nanowrimo yet–I’m still debating if I really want to, and it’s the middle of November. See you in December, huh?

I know just how you feel. Blogging has taken over my life, and I am retired and have little to do so I am amazed at the number of women with young children and A LIFE who still take the time to read others posts and to write their own.

Please don’t stop, let something else go, like the ironing.
