Why I Don’t Blog on the Weekend Anymore…

Funny as watching this unfold was, it was somewhat mortifying seeing my own dance style reflected in some of Emma’s more spastic movements…
p.s. Several people have had a wee bit of difficulty figuring out how to comment on this new template. Yes, it breaks the usual bloggy protocol, but there are actually two ways. 1) Click the circle with the number in it. Two, click the title of the post and scroll down to the comment section. Now, no forehead smacking. I try to keep this a violence free zone, you know. Happy weekend everyone!

The whole time I was watching, I couldn’t stop the uncontrollable laughter as I pictured a whole room full of grown-ups dancing exactly like that. Oh, that would be entertaining. They’re adorable girls. Happy weekend!

Taking the weekend off is a perfect solution. This post (and that video) reminds me of the time we had some houseguests from Portland. They were at first astounded that we literally never watch tv. But after spending a day or so with our (then) 3-year-old they exclaimed, “No wonder you don’t watch t.v.! Who needs a tv when you have Jeremiah?!” So in that spirit, I add, “No wonder you’re taking the weekends off! Who needs blogging when you have Emma and Becca?” (I’m off to enjoy mine now, too.)

Wow that song brings back memories. It seems every singles/Institute dance I’ve been to has played that song. I like the part where your youngest (Becca?) tries to put her sisters hat back on her in the middle of her dance. ;)
