Have You Ever…

…taken your temperature on a whim and had it read exactly 98.6, paused to reflect on the fact that wow, that is about as average as it gets, and then proceeded to feel rather depressed by your averageness?
…put off grocery shopping for so long that the only breakfast option available to your kids is applesauce and crackers or something of that nature?
…INTENTIONALLY put off trip preparations because deep down you secretly enjoy the crazy chaotic flurry of throwing everything together at the last minute? Plus there’s a teeny tiny part of you that hopes somehow it will all magically be done FOR you, even though you know that hope is 100% insane?
…forgotten to renew your house insurance and had to add “And please may the house not burn down before the insurance people get the cheque in the mail” to your personal prayers?
…thought that surely, once upon a time ago, you had a fully functioning brain?

I don’t think I’ve ever had a fully functioning brain… if it wasn’t attached, I’d have lost my head long ago :)

Hmmm. My temp is always low, so if I get the average I usually feel sick!
My brain hasn’t fully functioned since having my first child. I really think they suck out brain cells while growing.

Oh, for sure on the grocery shopping thing! This very morning! And yesterday’s! :(
And I have taken my temperature and saw it was 98.6 and not felt average, but instead marveled that the human body knows what temperature it should be, down to the tenth of a degree!

I really like this layout, too. Very funky, but still somehow not too busy with all the boxes. It’s organized and fun. I really like it.
I sort of like when there’s nothing for breakfast, as it means, “Time to make muffins!” and I’m loving me some muffins. :) (although, if you don’t have eggs you can’t make muffins, and if you DO have eggs you can have them scrambled, so if there’s really nothing for breakfast, I guess you can’t make muffins. I still love muffins.

Ummm…Yes. To all of the above.
(But I don’t have that grocery problem ever since I ordered doorstep service from a local organic farm. Fresh Bread, milk, eggs, juice, and organic veggies every Monday morning. Feels like Christmas…and who doesn’t need THAT every Monday?!)
