In which I show off the cuteness of my children with wanton disregard for those bored by such things.
In this clip Becca breaks the your-baby-sister-is-NOT-a-toy rule and the covering-your-sister’s-face-is-punishable-by-jello rule (What? I hate jello), but gets away with it because she’s so dang cute.
Here we are subjected to baby spittle and much gurgling. Claira, like many her age, suffers from the delusion that she can actually talk. This clip falls into the only-grandparents-and-baby-lovers-will-enjoy-this category.
In this clip Becca tells Claira a story that, as a writer, I can’t help noticing is quite lacking in plot clarity. Also, despite the fact that the main character is the, ahem, fruit of my loins (can I say that and maintain my blog’s G-rating?), I wouldn’t call it character driven either. The story’s tedium is relieved however when Claira attempts to bite her sister.
Not to be outdone, Emma wants to tell Claira a story too. Not bad for a girl who just had her throat slit.
And now to put the camera away for a long, long while. My kids are adorable and heaven help me I think they’re beginning to suspect…

I love Emma’s story. Mostly because it’s so real to life. Life for princesses is flowers and rainbows until they get married….but wait, then it’s also ‘flowers and rainbows everywhere’ for happily ever after, too! I could just see her little imagination burning to think what happened after marriage. :)

Flowers and rainbows everywhere! That is so darling. I love her voice and her “r”s . What a cutie. “Once-ee-pon-ee-time” HEY! I just noticed Rebecca above me wrote that!

Claira is an amazing talker. So darling. Spencer used to talk a lot but now he gurgles and screams. I love it.
